Worldbuilders Inc. ("we", "our", "us") operates the Yumeship mobile application ("Yumeship" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Content You Create
Yumeship is a private creative scrapbook and artifact maker for yumeship, selfship, and OC x canon pairings. The App may store content you create, including:
- Ship names, character names, profile details, relationship notes, prompts, and template text
- Photos or images you add to templates, albums, outfits, fake chat artifacts, profiles, or other creative tools
- Scenario, message, notification, anniversary, outfit, and scrapbook-style artifact data
- App customization choices such as colors, themes, labels, and layout settings
1.2 Local Device Data
Yumeship is local-first. Your ship data is stored on your device unless a backup or sync feature is enabled by the App or your device settings.
1.3 iCloud / CloudKit Backup
Yumeship may use Apple iCloud / CloudKit private database features to back up your private ship data. CloudKit data is associated with your Apple ID and handled under Apple's terms and privacy practices. CloudKit backup is intended for private backup only, not public sharing.
1.4 Purchases and Subscription Data
If you purchase Yumeship Pro or another paid feature, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to help manage subscription status. We may receive purchase status, product identifiers, entitlement status, and related subscription metadata. We do not receive your full payment card information.
1.5 Notifications
If you enable notifications, Yumeship may schedule local notifications on your device, including private notes, reminders, anniversaries, or F/O notification text that you create or approve.
1.6 Optional AI Features
If optional AI drafting features are available and you choose to use them, the prompts you submit and selected context you provide may be sent to an AI service provider to generate draft text. AI output is intended as editable creative assistance, not a live companion, therapy, crisis support, or professional advice.
1.7 Diagnostics
We may receive basic diagnostics, crash reports, subscription events, or app performance information through Apple, RevenueCat, or similar service providers. We do not use third-party advertising trackers and do not sell your personal information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide the App and save your private creative artifacts
- Restore or back up data when supported
- Schedule notifications you request
- Manage subscriptions and paid access
- Improve stability, fix bugs, and understand feature usage
- Respond to support requests
- Enforce our Terms of Use and protect users
3. Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We may share limited information with:
- Apple, for App Store purchases, iCloud/CloudKit, notifications, and device-level services
- RevenueCat, for subscription and entitlement management
- AI service providers, only if you use optional AI drafting features
- Service providers who help operate, diagnose, or support the App
- Legal authorities, if required by law or needed to protect users, the App, or our rights
Yumeship is private by default. We do not publish your ship content unless a future feature clearly asks you to share or export something.
4. Children and Teen Users
Yumeship is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are 13 to 17, you may use Yumeship only with permission from a parent or guardian.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
5. Sensitive Content and Personal Information
Yumeship is designed for private creative expression. You should avoid adding real addresses, phone numbers, school names, passwords, financial details, or other sensitive personal information to your ship content.
Do not upload or create content that violates the rights or privacy of another person.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Content stored locally remains on your device unless you delete it or delete the App. CloudKit backup data may remain in your private iCloud account according to Apple's iCloud behavior.
You can delete content inside the App where deletion controls are available. For support with privacy or deletion questions, contact us at support@yumeship.app.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information we process. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple ID, and App Store account secure.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice in the App or on our website.
