Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Version: privacy-v7
Worldbuilders Inc. ("we", "our", "us") operates the Yumeship mobile application ("Yumeship" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the App.
Some Yumeship terms used below: "F/O" means a fictional other; "F/O spaces" are Shippers spaces organized around a fictional other; "doubles" are users who share the same F/O; "Moots" means saved-access Picshare sharing; and hidden F/O preferences such as non-sharing or voidsharing are settings used to control how certain F/O spaces appear to you.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Content You Create
Yumeship is a private creative scrapbook and artifact maker for yumeship, selfship, and OC x canon pairings. The App may store content you create, including:
- Ship names, character names, profile details, relationship notes, prompts, and template text
- Photos or images you add to templates, albums, outfits, shrines, fake chat artifacts, private post-style artifacts, profiles, Shippers posts, or other creative tools
- Scenario, message, notification, anniversary, outfit, storyline, shrine board, and scrapbook-style artifact data
- Pasted music links, music titles, playlist or artist details, cover images, and notes you choose to save
- App customization choices such as colors, themes, labels, and layout settings
1.2 Local Device Data
Yumeship is local-first. Your ship data is stored on your device unless a backup, sharing, account, purchase, diagnostics, or sync feature is enabled by the App or your device settings.
When you choose photos, images, or files, the App may access the items you select so it can display, save, edit, export, or share the artifact you requested. Yumeship does not need precise device location for its core private scrapbook features. Location labels in Picshare-style posts are user-entered text unless a future build clearly asks for device location permission.
1.3 Platform Backup
Yumeship may use Apple iCloud / CloudKit private database features, Android Auto Backup, device transfer, or similar platform backup features to help preserve private ship data. Platform backup data is associated with your Apple ID, Google account, or device backup account and handled under that provider's terms and privacy practices. Platform backup is intended for private backup only, not public sharing.
1.4 Account and Sign-In Data
If you sign in for Picshare, Moots, Shippers, comments, or other account features, we may collect account information such as your Sign in with Apple identifier, Google sign-in identifier, name or email address if the sign-in provider provides it, internal user ID, Yumeship username, authentication tokens, and the version and timestamp of your Terms, Privacy, Community Guidelines, and 13+ confirmations.
Your Yumeship username and Shippers profile information are visible to other signed-in Yumeship users within social features when you post, comment, vote, join visible F/O spaces, or use sharing features. Your Apple ID, Google account ID, and email address are not shown to other Yumeship users by us.
1.5 Picshare and Moots Sharing Data
Yumeship is private by default. If you turn on Picshare or Moots sharing, the App uploads a sharing-safe version of the Picshare profile you choose to share. This may include ship display names, profile names, handles, bios, selected avatars, selected post images, captions, timestamps, locations or tags you entered, creator-written comments included in the shared posts, share status, link metadata, and image storage references.
Shared Picshare links require a signed-in Yumeship account to view. A secret link is still not the same as strict privacy: people with access may view the shared profile, leave comments if comments are enabled, or save copies or screenshots outside Yumeship.
When you view or interact with shared Picshare profiles, we may process the link token or saved access record, the profiles in your "Shared with me" list, comments you post, the post you commented on, your visible Yumeship username, timestamps, comment notification state, reports, blocks, access removals, and moderation status.
For safety, abuse prevention, and service operation, our backend and service providers may process routine technical data such as IP address, device or app request metadata, logs, rate-limit signals, authentication status, pseudonymous restriction claims, and account-linkage signals. These signals may help keep a Shippers restriction from being bypassed by logging out or switching accounts.
1.6 Shippers Social Data
Shippers is a signed-in social feature. If you use Shippers, we may collect and store your Shippers profile, including username, display name, avatar, pronouns, short bio, about text, profile settings, and moderation state.
We may also collect and store Shippers posts, post titles, post bodies, uploaded post images and media variants, comments, votes, source or destination type, F/O space IDs, F/O space names and source/fandom labels, visible doubles memberships, hidden F/O-space preferences such as non-sharing or voidsharing status, timestamps, counts, reports, blocks, hides, and related moderation metadata.
Reports, appeals, and moderation records may include report categories, reason text, reporter and reported account IDs, content snapshots, content status, moderation decisions, reviewer notes, audit logs, appeal or support messages, restriction claim IDs, linked-account indicators, and related timestamps.
Shippers posts, comments, visible profile details, visible F/O-space memberships, votes or vote counts, and F/O-space activity may be visible to other signed-in Yumeship users according to the feature's current design and your settings. Hidden F/O-space preferences are intended to be private to you and used to hide those spaces from your normal Shippers experience.
If you use Shippers Chat, we collect and store the messages, replies, heart reactions, room-topic requests, Shippers identity shown with a message, timestamps, rate-limit and cooldown signals, and related moderation results. Chat messages are shown in the room for approximately one hour. We normally retain source messages and reactions for up to seven days for abuse investigation and operational recovery, then delete them through a bounded cleanup process. A report may preserve the reported message, its reply preview, nearby conversation context, identity snapshot, and moderation result under our moderation retention practices even after the source message leaves the visible transcript or is deleted.
Shippers does not automatically publish your private ship document, local photos, local F/O records, private notes, notifications, scenarios, prompts, headcanons, or CloudKit backup data. If you choose to post text or images from private ship content into Shippers, that posted copy is social content.
To operate safety and moderation features, we may review, scan, classify, or process shared profiles, Shippers profiles, posts, comments, Chat messages and room-topic requests, uploaded images or media, reports, account signals, and request metadata using manual review, automated systems, hash-matching, vendor tools, or similar safety checks. For text and image moderation, this may include sending shared or social content to Google Cloud or OpenAI services that help with content safety, classification, and moderation. These checks may help us detect prohibited content, prioritize reports, block or remove uploads, preserve moderation evidence, prevent abuse or enforcement evasion, and comply with law. We do not use private ship documents, private local scrapbook content, or private backups for social moderation checks unless you submit that content to a sharing or social feature, include it in a report, or ask us to review it for support.
The App may retain an opaque local restriction claim on your device after logout or account switching. The claim is not a raw Apple or Google account ID, username, or copy of private ship content. We use it for security, abuse prevention, restriction enforcement, and support recovery. It does not give us access to private local ship content and normally clears if the App is uninstalled or its local data is removed.
1.7 Analytics and Internal Measurement
We may use information we collect for our own internal analytics, product measurement, business reporting, safety analysis, moderation analysis, and service improvement. This may include account and device identifiers, app version, platform, feature usage, screens or actions used, purchase and entitlement events, notification and export events, paywall events, social actions, sharing actions, crash or performance data, request metadata, rate-limit signals, and aggregated or de-identified trends.
We may use analytics to understand retention, conversion, feature adoption, reliability, abuse patterns, and which parts of Yumeship are useful. We may analyze social content and related metadata to operate feeds, rank or sort content, count activity, investigate reports, prevent abuse, improve moderation, and understand how visible or shared features are used.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not use your private ship documents, private local scrapbook content, or private backups for advertising or to train AI or machine-learning models. If we ever want to use this private content for a materially new purpose, we will ask for your opt-in consent first.
1.8 Feedback and Support
If you submit feedback, a bug report, feature request, support message, or similar request, we may collect the message you submit, any optional contact information you provide, your account ID if you are signed in, the source screen or feature, platform, app version, build number, device or operating system details, timestamps, request metadata, and limited anti-abuse signals such as IP address or a derived rate-limit identifier. We use this information to respond to you, understand reported issues, improve the App, and prevent spam or abuse.
1.9 Purchase and Subscription Data
If you purchase Yumeshipper Pro or another paid feature, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play. We use RevenueCat to help manage purchase status, entitlement access, and any legacy subscription status. We may receive purchase status, product identifiers, entitlement status, and related purchase or subscription metadata. We do not receive your full payment card information.
1.10 Notifications
If you enable notifications, Yumeship may schedule local notifications on your device, including private notes, reminders, anniversaries, or F/O notification text that you create or approve.
1.11 Diagnostics
We may receive basic diagnostics, crash reports, purchase events, subscription events, feature usage events, or app performance information through Apple, Google, RevenueCat, PostHog, or similar service providers. We do not use third-party advertising trackers and do not sell your personal information.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:

3. How Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may share limited information with:
- People or services you choose when you export an artifact, use the system share sheet, save to another app, or open a pasted music or media link
- Other signed-in Yumeship users who have access to a Picshare profile you choose to share, including your shared profile content, visible Yumeship username, and comments

- Apple, for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, iCloud/CloudKit, notifications, diagnostics, and device-level services
- Google, for Google sign-in, Google Play purchases, Android backup, diagnostics, device-level services, and Google Cloud services that help with content safety, classification, and moderation
- OpenAI, when configured to provide automated text or image safety classification and moderation
- RevenueCat, for purchase, subscription, and entitlement management
- PostHog, if analytics or diagnostics are configured for the build you use
- Service providers who help operate, host, store, deliver, diagnose, moderate, or support the App, including backend and image-storage infrastructure
- Legal authorities, NCMEC, or other appropriate safety organizations if required by law or needed to report apparent child exploitation, threats of harm, serious illegal activity, abuse, or risks to users, the App, or our rights
Yumeship is private by default. We do not publish your private ship document. When you turn on Picshare or Moots sharing, only the shared projection and shared images are uploaded for that feature. When you use Shippers, the profile, posts, comments, votes, F/O-space activity, and images you submit to Shippers are stored for that social feature.
When you export an image or share content outside Yumeship, the privacy practices of the destination app, website, or person also apply. We cannot control copies, screenshots, downloads, reposts, or saves made outside Yumeship.
4. Children and Teen Users
Yumeship is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are 13 to 17, you may use Yumeship only with permission from a parent or guardian.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, contact us so we can take appropriate action, which may include deleting the account or related data.
5. Sensitive Content and Personal Information
Yumeship is designed for private creative expression. You should avoid adding real addresses, phone numbers, school names, passwords, financial details, or other sensitive personal information to your ship content.
Do not upload or create content that violates the rights or privacy of another person.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Content stored locally remains on your device unless you delete it or delete the App. Platform backup data may remain in your Apple iCloud, CloudKit, Google, Android backup, or device backup account according to your platform settings and provider behavior.
You can stop sharing, regenerate a share link, delete comments through App controls, remove saved shared profiles, block users from your shared Picshare, hide or block Shippers users, and delete your own Shippers posts or comments through App controls.
You can delete your Yumeship account and associated sharing or Shippers data directly in the App through Shippers tab > Settings > Delete Account. You can also request deletion without reinstalling the App at https://yumeship.app/delete.html, or by emailing admin@worldbuilders.app.
Deleting your Yumeship sharing account is intended to stop active shared Picshare links and delete or disable the backend account used for Yumeship sharing and Shippers. Local ship documents remain on your device unless you separately delete them or delete the App. After we confirm your request, we complete active-system deletion within 30 days except for limited records retained where necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, or keep required purchase or tax records. Personal data in backups is deleted or overwritten on our normal backup rotation, generally within 90 days.
Reports may include a snapshot of the reported content so we can review abuse even if the original comment, profile, post, or image later changes or is deleted. We may retain moderation records, reviewer notes, audit logs, appeals, safety signals, and legal reports where needed to enforce our Terms, prevent repeat abuse, maintain security, comply with law, or protect users.
Restriction claims and linked-account indicators may remain while a restriction or safety review is active and afterward where reasonably needed to enforce a continuing ban, resolve an appeal, prevent repeat abuse, or maintain service security, subject to applicable law.
For support with privacy, access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights questions, contact us at admin@worldbuilders.app.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information we process. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple ID, Google account, App Store account, and Google Play account secure.
8. Your Choices
You can choose not to sign in, not to create a visible Yumeship username, not to use Shippers, and not to enable Picshare or Moots sharing. You can keep using local private features without publishing a shared Picshare profile or posting to Shippers, subject to the App's available feature set.
You can manage photo, file, notification, backup, and account permissions through App controls and through your device, Apple, or Google settings. You can delete local content from the App, and deleting the App may remove local device data depending on your platform backup settings.
Logging out, changing accounts, deleting an account, or reinstalling the App does not entitle you to regain Shippers access. If you later create or use another account, a continuing restriction may still apply. Use the official support path to request review of a restriction.
Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights such as requesting access, deletion, correction, or information about how your personal information is used. You can contact us to make a request.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice in the App or on our website and require acknowledgment before you continue using affected online features.
