Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Yumeship mobile application ("Yumeship" or the "App"), operated by Worldbuilders Inc. ("we", "our", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Yumeship. If you are 13 to 17, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or guardian.
We do not knowingly allow children under 13 to use the App. If we learn that a user is under 13, we may delete their data and prevent further use.
2. What Yumeship Is
Yumeship is a private creative tool for making, customizing, saving, revisiting, and exporting fictional relationship artifacts, including yumeship, selfship, and OC x canon materials.
Yumeship is not:
- A therapy or mental health service
- A crisis support service
- A live AI companion app
- A public social network
- A tool for impersonating real people
3. Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you create in Yumeship.
You are responsible for the content you create, upload, save, export, or share from the App. This includes character names, ship details, images, templates, messages, scenarios, outfits, albums, and other artifacts.
You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the App, such as storing, backing up, displaying, processing, and supporting your content within Yumeship.
4. Fan Content and Third-Party Rights
Yumeship may be used for fan-created or fictional materials. You are responsible for making sure your use of names, characters, images, artwork, trademarks, or other third-party material is lawful and allowed.
Yumeship is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party fandom, media property, character owner, publisher, studio, or rights holder unless we say otherwise.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Yumeship to create, store, export, or share content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or discriminatory
- Sexually exploits or endangers minors
- Contains non-consensual sexual content or intimate images
- Encourages self-harm, suicide, abuse, or dangerous behavior
- Invades another person's privacy or shares personal information without consent
- Impersonates a real person in a harmful or misleading way
- Infringes copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other rights
- Attempts to interfere with, reverse engineer, abuse, or disrupt the App
6. AI Features
If Yumeship offers optional AI drafting features, AI output is provided as creative assistance only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, saving, exporting, or sharing any AI-generated output.
AI features are not a substitute for professional advice, mental health care, crisis support, or real interpersonal communication.
7. Notifications
Yumeship may let you schedule private notifications, reminders, or F/O-style notes. You are responsible for the notification text you create or approve. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings.
8. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features may require a paid subscription or purchase.
Payments are processed through Apple's App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled according to Apple's App Store rules. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
If the App uses Apple's standard End User License Agreement, that agreement also applies to your use of the App.
9. Privacy
Your use of Yumeship is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared.
10. App Changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time. Some features may be experimental, limited, or changed before full release.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, create safety risks, or use the App unlawfully.
You may stop using the App at any time.
12. Disclaimers
Yumeship is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available forever.
Yumeship is a creative tool. We do not guarantee any emotional, social, creative, therapeutic, or relationship outcome from using the App.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Worldbuilders Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost profits, subscription issues handled by Apple, or interruption of service.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
